The Cricket Fiji Board endorsed the 2022 – 2026 Strategic Plan in February 2022. The Strategic Plan with the slogan “Without Vision people Perish” introduces the purpose on why the organisation exists and maps out a new vision on what the organisation hopes to achieve by 2026.
Cricket Fiji’s purpose of “Inspiring Fijian to be their Best through Cricket” is anchored on the Vision of “To activate the next generation of cricketers in Fiji and to deliver sustained growth and success – Me Bula ga na Kirikiti”. Board Chairman, Ratu Meli Saubulinayau while endorsing the Strategic Plan says that we will need to deliver on the objectives under the 5 Focus Areas in order to raise the profile of cricket in Fiji and put Fiji back to where it once was on the international stage 10 – 15 years ago.
The Strategic plan also outlines the 7 values of Cricket Fiji which are based on the acronyms of the word cricket: Commitment, Respect, Integrity, Creativity, Knowledgeable, Excellence and Teamwork.
